 2-23-12  Ok so I am a few days late this week because I have been out of town. So I’m just going to do a quick one this week. We have 2 minis on the schedule for the weekend. Junction’s Ice Bowl is this weekend. I’m not sure what is up with the work day that was scheduled for Saturday, I think it’s been called off until next Saturday…but you might check the website for any update from the course maintenance man. Other than that Crush signups are open and some are starting to come in. Also Brady is having a doubles tourney next Saturday.
MINIS
South Concho is singles this Saturday with a teetime of 10am.
Sunday’s lake mini will be random doubles: teetime is 2pm.
And just a little teaser about next Wednesday….it’s my favorite mini….GET RIPT WEDNESDAY!! But this time we are changing the location for the first time in a few years. It will be a North Concho Get Ript Wednesday starting at 6pm!!!!!

They are doing a little different format here, in where you play singles the first round, then play “semi-random” doubles the second…in which you are paired up according to your score. 1st gets last and so on. Sounds pretty fun! Plus they offer a 200’ elevation change CTP throw.

If you need those sent again please let me or another board member know and we’ll get that sent over again. If you or you know someone that is willing to help sponsor the Crush be sure to get the paperwork filled out before turning in the money. Deadline for sponsorship turn in is Feb. 24th

Extras:
For the first time in Crush history, lunch will be provided at no cost to the players.
Friday Bring your own partner doubles will be played on the lake course and will be $10 per team
Long drive competition: $2 awards will be by divisions.
(this will take place between the 1st and 2nd rounds)
NightGlow: $5 This will go back to random doubles this year. And from what I hear the course will top last years!
There will also be some good raffle prizes.

Brady Doubles
This is on March 3rd, 2012 2 rounds of doubles
Sign up starts at 8 am, $25 per team, $15 goes in the purse, $10 goes to help the Lions.
Start is at 9 am, $500 has been raised to add to the purse.
Sausage wraps, drinks including beer, and BBQ sandwiches will be available for donations, thank you.
Long drive and closest to the pin or ace prizes.
Drawings will be for many donated prizes. Worst score prize for the lame duck team.
A mini toss closest to the object will earn the entry fee being given back to you.
