Clean up dates for the Crush are going to be February 11th 2012 and February 25th. Meeting time is 9am.

There isn't just a ton of work to be done..

Trash cans, painting posts, trash pick up, Etc.
Sorry I forgot the paint Mike!

Tabs welded to the sleeve....

#2 long
#6 middle
#12 long
#14 long

Tee Box toes and posts needed...

Several are missing or damaged.
Several will need to be replanted
Paint..
#5, #6, Red need to be replaced
#16 Blue, both toe and post need to be replaced

We will need to either move the boxes or use some fill dirt on all of them.

It needs to be decided what pin placement should be used for #11 and #16 as both of them long could be an issue.

Thanks Cookie

Let me know if we need any more Mando signs. I'll be more than willing to make up some more.

My opinion on this would be to put 16 short and 11 long.

So do we have all the materials needed for the work day this weekend? Hoping it's a little more together than this last weekend.

I know Gary has told me he has some 4x4s. Are you coming out this weekend Gary? If not, can you drop those off to me between now and then?
Mark, out at Eola, also has some 4x4s he has given me...just have to go get them. Let me know if we are going to need them this weekend.

Do we have paint for the poles?

On the teeboxes that are rutted out...I'd rather move them than try and fill them in. Seems like when we have tried that in the past they just get to be mud holes, or the dirt is loose and people slip. Might as well move them to the grass can recover the area.

Are there pin placements that are going to be used that need to be fixed?

I've got a box of thick trash bags at the house to replace those.

Has the blade been put on Hole 10 at the lake yet?

Oh, are we just going to do the Lake this weekend and worry about S.C. on the 25th? Or are we going to send a crew over there to get 4 and 14 cleaned up?

There are three long pins that need to be repaired. The 4th could be fixed if there is time. I will give Coby a call and see what the status of his welder would be. Might need to get a few gallons of fuel for the gen.

If you can bring the 4x4s that Mark has and the ones that Gary has we should be covered. Jason if you can get them gathered up for me I will stop by after work and bring them home and get them cut before we head out there.

I don't have the paint, but I have several gallons and I will check for white. I have some yellow spraypaint that can be used for touch up or to paint 10s band yellow.

Trash bags for sure and just some pick up in general of branches and any trash that is on the course.

I have not seen the blade since building the baskets so I will give Donovan a call to see if it might be in his truck.

I want to weadeat the normal path through the gunch on 15.
It should be a good few hours of work at the lake so I was thinking that we could do S Concho on the next wk date as there is going to be a bit more brush clean up, unless someone wants to head that way or we have the time.

Please bring your tools.
Thanks Cookie

Just a bump so everyone who likes to get thier hands dirty knows...Work day tomorrow, and since it's the lake you don't have to have a waiver form filed with me.

Bring your digging, painting, and trash clean up stuff!

Hopefully we can blow through this stuff and get a round in before the women's mini(when I have to be home)!

If we don't get it all finished the 2nd work day is the 25th for those that can't make this one.

Great job to the few who battled the cold yesterday working at the lake. We got a lot done and my only regret is we didn't get to paint, otherwise the lake would have been Crush ready.

I was able to get a firm yes on Junction last night so the work day will be changed to next Saturday the 3rd @ 9am. Meeting place is S Concho for some brush clean up and OB paint as well.
I will be going to the lake this Sunday to finish off the painting there.
If you have some free time next Saturday morning please show up at S Concho as this will make the day go faster.
Thanks Cookie

So I've had a request to move either the teemarker pole, or the teebox on hole 18 at S.C.. The person requesting this said that he has seen several people either hit their hand or come close to hitting their hand on the pole.

Does anyone have an issue with this? I know I've played S.C. a lot and never had any issues with this. But if there is a chance of that, I'd rather move it than someone get injured.

If no one is against it I'll move it Saturday at the work day.

Is there anyone with a weedeater that is planning on making it Saturday?

To any of you that has filled out a work release form to do work at North Concho....we are having our 1st "mow day" tomorrow starting at 9am.

If you can be there....please do so! We need all weed-eaters and riding lawn mowers on deck!

If you have any questions give me or Cookie a call.

But please remember if you do have a work release form filled with me, you can not participate in the work day.

Another work day has been set for clean up across the river at Picnic Bend and some work at South Concho.

Date: April 14th
Time: 9am
Meeting at Picnic Bend

Mostly weedeaters will be needed at Picnic, and probably some trash clean up.

S.C. we will be moving teeboxes that were rutted out at the Crush. We'll probably also need to weedeat around 4, but I'm not 100% on that.

Thanks to everyone that came out to help with the work day Saturday. Was very nice to see some new faces to the work day...not limited to, but especially Jack! Huge thanks for everything you and your tractor did for us! Also thanks to Trey, Michael, Muph, Coby, and Cookie....Picnic looks AWSOME, and S.C.'s teeboxes should be good for the rest of the year! Can't wait to play 8's new box!

Next work day will be at North Concho on the 28th. If you want to particpate be sure to come by the shop and fill out a waiver. If you don't have one filed with me you CAN NOT help at N.C. More info on what will be needed as we get a little closer.

So the work day for this Saturday is on at North Concho. As long as you have filled out a work release form prior to Saturday and are free.....come out and lend a hand!

Tasks at hand: Hopefully finish the island hole, and remow fairways. Weedeaters, and mowers are needed...especialy riding lawn mowers...possibly a blower! Otherwise shovels and rakes.

9am start time. Hopefully followed by a round!

Board members dropping like flies, down to only 2 of us going to be there at least on time...No Coby..which we knew when we set the date, as of last night no Cookie till after 12, and now no Gary. SWEET more work for the rest of us.

If you have a work release for filed with me, and can make it with weedeaters, just to empty trash cans or just to help move rock around....sounds like we can use the help!

Sorry Guys, I have to work a mandatory half day for the next two Saturdays. I tried to get out of it tomorrow but I can't. I will head that way as soon as I get off. I will go over there this afternoon and get the trash and some wead eating done.
Thanks Cookie
