Some things to know is that this is an Online Registration only, Pre-Registration only tournament. This means you can only register for this tournament through Disc Golf United and no other way. This also means that if you are not pre-registered by Thursday, March 7th by 7:00 pm CST, then you can not register and play this tournament. There are no late registrations and no day of registrations, no exceptions. Another very important date to remember is that if you want a T-shirt in your players pack you have to be pre-registered by 8:00 pm CST by Sunday March 3rd.
This year we are offering a new division and that will be Women's Advanced Masters. As all sanctioned events there must be 3 players signed up in order for any division to make. Another thing we will do differently this year for time issues is the Pool that is starting at South Concho will be having their players meeting there with the Assistant TD. All players will still need to come to Middle Concho (Lake Course) on Sat morning from 8-8:45 to check in and get their pool assignment. We are in hopes this will help out greatly with our time issue so that those that have to play South Concho for the second round on Sat are not playing in the dark as they were last year.
Friday is bring your partner doubles at the temp course at the lake. $10 per person with the first card going out at 2pm and the last going out at 5pm. 100% payout to winners, number of places paid out will be determined by number of teams that play.
Just a reminder to anyone who is planning on staying in a hotel...There is a lot of oil field work going on in the area which from what I understand is filling up the hotels. Don't wait to make your reservations or you just might end up camping after all!!!!
I signed up for the crush rite after I renewed my pdga membership...I hope this doesn't mess up my registration...I don't know how long it takes to show I am current member.
I think INT is probably one of the hardest divisons for an AMS player to win. There are a lot of fringe advanced players that always play down so they can make sure they are in the plastic. Not saying Adv. isn't hard to win...or there are not fringe Pros playing down for the same reason, bagging is just part of the game I guess(and Im not saying you are bagging Bryan...hell I should probably be playing INT, I just dont' want to throw from the blues).
See you next weekend! Are you playing the friday doubles?
Agreed, INT has a wide array of skill levels in it. The INT division in Austin tourneys is ridiculously hard. Everyone seems to be on the fringe. YES, I will be playing doubles with Justin Yates. Look forward to it. It will be my first dubs in 3-4 years.
Well San Angelo has a big name coming to the Crush this year......anyone checked out our Open division......I am in hopes that Catrina will sign up too.
