There has been a "course" on base now for a good 2 or 3 years. I've never gotten to play it or anything, and don't really know anything about the layout. I've heard it's fairly easy, and not to hard to navigate. I know I've had a few guys from the base come in and get discs from my store a few times, most of them looking for guideons, "unit of the quarter" streamers, or flags and just happened to find discs here. Some of them have even mentioned trying to do a military/civilian doubles tourney out there...but nothing has ever come of it. There also use to be 3 baskets at the Goodfellow rec-camp out at the lake, but they gave 2 of them to a local who's dad is retired Navy.
I know there is a guy out on base who's a pretty good golfer, haven't seen him in a while....but I just had a friend of his(that came in looking for a flag) come in and tell me he had a buddy that plays DG. So he's still here, his name is Stewart. All I really know is he's in the Air Force and came here from Alaska, doubt that helps much, but there you go.
Here is a map of the course at Goodfellow the last time I played it. Hole 1 starts by the rec center and hole 9 is by the theater. The last time i played there were only 9 baskets.GoodFellow course
