Big John lost a Tye Dyed Discraft something at Brentwood yesterday. He was upset by the loss of this disc, and wants it back. Somebody probably picked it up, but doesn't wanna give it back. And I have a feeling they were not playing in the MINI...so be nice and give it back. What'd BIG J ever do to you anyway?
It was an XL, a dyed Z-XL. He just left it laying and someone came by and snatched it up.
Also Scott(nick's dad) lost a clear Q-mega putter last night the same way. He left it laying on 9, and by the time we got back by there it was gone.
NOT COOL AT ALL...I mean it's one thing to take a disc that someone has left or thrown in the water and they are not around, still not cool...but. These were just forgotten for a second and poof gone. Pretty shitty that you can't even trust DGers while your still on the course.
I got a call from Gabe(he was in one of the groups that was playing, not in the mini) about hole 6 at picnic. So I asked him about both these discs. He said they didn't get em. I know there was a group of 2 other guys out there, but not sure who they were.
thanks to pete and jason for trying to put the word out about my 'missing' disc. in the long run, i have no one to blame but myself. but, i agree w/jason, its pretty bad when you realize its missing from your bag on the next hole, and go back to find nothing. hopefully, thats a lesson i wont have to learn again..
it was a red/orange colored tye-dyed Z-XL. brand new, thrown about 4 times. it was a valentines day gift from my wife. for any bleeding hearts out there, please return it.
I'm the culprit...Big John I have your disc!!! I must have picked it up when we walked to the basket. Wow, I'm a real prick! Sorry for thinking someone picked it up and kept it. Oops...I'll drop it by Jasons shop after I finish up at Picnic Bend.
What an ass, all of this Drama!!!!! Lol, I don't know how many times I have picked up a friends disc, they think they lost it, I realize I have it 2 or 3 days later, and then the world is right again! NOW WE MUST HAVE SOMEONE COME FORWARD ON ALL OF JASONS 100+ MISSING/STOLEN AVENGERS! Could we start an investigation team, maybe a PONY could be our logo?????
Okay, I'm coming clean...I've stolen like 50 discs from people over the past few years. I'm sorry. I've picked up OB shots, lied about lost discs in the water and I've gone swimming in the lake so many times I've lost count. I even had my henchmen out there doing the work for me. But this was the last straw. I'm done with it. I was really gonna keep Big Johns disc but just couldn't bring myself to do it. It's over and I apologize to all for the bad things I've done. So if you see a Star Wraith on 1 at Picnic Bend, I'd really like to have it back. Soon. It's gonna kill me at Worlds next month if I don't have it in my bag (briefcase). Thanks?
