As most of you know the Ace Race is a pre-registration event only. The reason for this is we have to order a set number of player packs in from Discraft. So be sure to get signed up before the deadline.

Pre-registration dates:
July 6th – July 21st
Date of event: August 7th
Cost: $25 – that includes your 2 proto type discraft discs that must be used during the event. It also includes a hat, a supercolor mini, a sticker, and new to this year’s player pack a chrome finished bag tag.
(You do not have to be present to play in order to get a player pack. If you know you are not going to be here, or just don’t want to play….but know you want a player pack just sign up like you normally would if you were playing, but just let the TD know you won’t be there so he can set a side your player pack).
Rounds: 4 – 18 holes
(36 in the morning, 36 in the afternoon…..but remember you are only throwing 1 shot per hole, so it’s really not as much throwing as it sounds)

This is a pre-registration tourney only. We can not order the stuff in until we have a number of how many packs we need. Have to have a min of like 15 to even get to order and as of right now only one person has signed up. You have only until next Wed to sign up, only 7 days left. The TD is out of town until Friday and you probably won't see him at many minis, but you can bring your entry to any mini and give to any board member there and we will get it. This is a lot of fun, but I don't think everyone realizes the deadline is fast approaching.

My wife's grandma has to work all that weekend so she said she really didn't want to go. That led me to either go by myself, pay for hotel, gas and food for a sanctioned tourney; or stay home and play some dg with my friends and see what new disc comes out in the Ace Race!
