Going to keep this short this week since it’s already Wednesday and I’ve got a busy day going. We have a full mini schedule this week. The heARdiMorE is coming….and sounds like it’s going to be awesome yet again. The next work day at North Concho has been set.
I want to thank Sean, Patty, Cookie, Gary and Coby for making the work day this last Saturday. We got a lot done and the park looked great when we were finished! Thanks for you guys hard work!

Wednesday is set for another cold night at the park. Picnic Bend Singles is the format this week. 6pm teetime.
Saturday random doubles at North Concho. 10am teetime.
Sunday is Handicapped singles at the lake with a 2pm teetime.
10th heArDImorE Experience

We’ll do T-shirts to the first 20ish signed up.
Signups will be the morning of the tourney for this one.
I’ll get entry fees posted in next week’s update.
North Concho Work Day
The next work day at North Concho is set for May 18th. It’s going to be a big day for the park! We may also have a little to do at Picnic Bend on this day depending on turnout. If you would like to show up and help, but haven’t filled out your work release forms please do so by May 16th. More info on time, and tools needed as we get a little closer.
That should get us through this week…we’ll see you at the park!
Good morning CVDGA’ers…once again it is time for the weekly update. This week we have a full mini schedule on tap. We have a work day scheduled for North Concho for all those with a work release form filled out (it’s never to late to fill one out btw). SteveO’s Night Flight Summer Series continues this Saturday night at Brentwood. With Big Spring behind us, it’s now time to start looking forward to the 10th Annual heARdiMOre Experience…that’s right the 10th Annual!! A couple of weeks after that there is a tourney up in Amarillo, I think the 18th? Beyond that, it will be time for the 5th Annual Ménage A Trois befpre we know it…so start working on those 3 man teams!
I’d like to thank Greg and all the Innerpole guys for putting on another great weekend in Big Spring. I’d also like to thank Debbie and Greg’s wife(sorry can’t remember her name) for the behind the scene work they did over the weekend! I know I had a blast and I hope everyone else did as well. Congrats to Carl Wamski for his 1st place finish in Grandmasters and to Robert for hitting his first every ace! Also congrats to all the other CVDGAer’s that made payout over the weekend!
MINIS
Wednesday’s mini will be random doubles at Brentwood…6pm teetime.
Saturday is handicapped Singles at South Concho. 10am teetime….would love to say we’ll be done with the work day by teetime, but I kind of doubt it….so bring the handicaps if you plan to play as I will probably miss it.
Sunday is random doubles at the lake…2pm teetime.
Work Day at North Concho
Well it’s is time to get North Concho whipped into shape…and by whipped, I mean weed eated, mowed, trash clean up, fallen limb removal …and maybe even some weed/grass killing on the island hole.
So if you can help out we’d love to see you out there. Just make sure you have your work release form filled out and filed with me before Saturday morning.
Start time 9am
Tools needed: Gloves, weed eaters, riding lawn mowers or just mowers, chain saw, and if you have any spare round up sitting around. Or really any other stuff you think might be helpful for a work day.
Round 2 of 6 Night Flight Summer Series
This Saturday is the 2nd round of the Night Flight Series. This week’s round is at Brentwood Park. SteveO will be setting up lights and hoping for more attendance this time around.
Sign in is about 8:30
Teetime is 9:00.
You must make 3 of the 6 rounds to be eligible for the grand prize round.
Basic info of the series:
It will be singles play and the series is going to be run like any other mini, but the payout will be held until the end to the top points earners.
The series will be held on the 1st and 3rd Saturday Nights of the month beginning this weekend and wrapping up on June 29th. The series will be at a different park each time. You must compete in at least 3 of the 6 scheduled events to be eligible for the grand prize to be paid out on the last night of the series.
$5 buy in each week with the same amounts going to payout as at regular minis. $1 Ace Pot
10th Annual heArDImoRE Experience
May 11th is the day for the fun to go down. More info on specifics as we get a little closer.
If you have never been to a heARdimOrE tourney before, you do not know what you are missing…if you don’t mind having more of a party round than a serious gotta win round of disc golf. Basically you get a certain amount of cards to play on your fellow tourney players to try and mess them up as much as possible…all while putting at baskets in trees, or maybe throwing through ropes depending on what number you clicked…there is all kind of fun to be had at this event. Plus you get to tell Juice and if Randy shows up happy birthday!
So far I have 2 sponsors lined up for the event…both are donating a 5 gallon keg for those that are old enough to enjoy adult beverages.
So thanks to: Mark at Bright Brewing Mike at Horny Toad Brewing Coby is working on a 3rd keg sponsor.
5th Annual Menage a Trois
I just got confirmation last week that JC will once again be running the 3 man team event here in San Angelo known as the Menage A Trois in June.
There is a date in mind at this point, but nothing official….for now start working on those 3 man teams for your chance to drink out of the cup!
That should get us through this week…we’ll see you in the park!
Well, once again it is weekly update time of the week. For those tourney players it is a big week as it is Big Spring West Texas Disc Golf Champions Tournament. For those that are not making the trip up to Big Spring this weekend, we have a full mini schedule this week. Also the 10th Annual party that is hEArDimoRe experience will be here before we know it in about a month. We also have a work day planned for those that have signed your waiver to work at North Concho next weekend.
MINIS
2nd week of the month so that means Picnic Bend random doubles this week. 6pm teetime.
Saturday will probably struggle to make as I think most who attend Saturday minis will be in Big Spring, but if you want to make it happen…then it is set for doubles at South Concho. 10am teetime
Sunday’s teetime is 2pm, and the format is set for handicapped singles.

MINIS
Wednesday’s mini is set for some handicapped singles at Picnic Bend this week. 6pm teetime. We’ve been finishing close to dark lately, so you may still need lights for the last few holes.

There will not be a Mini on Sunday as it is Easter and some of the more “in danger” baskets at the lake will be pulled for the Holiday weekend. So no Sunday mini this week!
