 1/2/2013 Well Happy New Year to all the CVDGAer’s…2013 is here and the 1st CVDGA mini of the year is tonight!! We also have a full mini schedule for the rest of the week. The Ice Bowl is getting closer and closer, anyone getting excited yet? I know I’m looking forward to it! In an effort to get things going early for the Crush the first work day at the lake(we’ll also have some work to do at S.C.) has been set for January 12th. The deadline to announce you intentions to run for a CVDGA Board member spot is also quickly approaching. If you think you want to run for a spot you must do that by Jan. 12th.
It’s also the time of year for me to clean out some old email address from the CVDGA’ers list. So if you would like to keep getting the weekly update please reply to this email with “keep it coming” so I know you to keep receiving the update. Thanks!
MINIS
TODAY’s mini is set for some random doubles at Brentwood Park. 6pm teetime.
Saturday will be handicapped singles at North Concho…teetime is 10am.
Sunday is the weekly skins match at the lake starting at 2pm.
Crush Work Day
We are trying to get an earlier start on the yearly maintenance at the lake this year…so we’ve scheduled the first work day for January 12th. We’ll probably be moving teeboxes, checking and fixing all pin locations, emptying any full trash cans as well as picking up trash, and any other stuff that may need to be done.

Eola “2 disc and a mini Challenge” Ice Bowl
This year’s Ice Bowl is slowly getting closer and closer. Spread the word of the fun that is to be had at this annual disc golf party! January 26th, 2013
As usual it will be day of signups only starting at about 9:15ish. For those that like to get in line early we’ll do signups in the same room as always. (start it at the door please)
Cost to play will be $15 plus 3 cans of food, but of course you are welcome to bring more if you would like (if no food is brought it will be $30). All food and money will be donated to the Salvation Army.
This year we will be adding a mini hole to the course. I also have another idea for a hole that I am hoping is going to work out…more details once I know it will.
We’ll once again do player packs to the first 50 signed up.
Oh and the lost disc on the roof rule will be in effect this year once again. So try not to throw them up there!
