First the mid-week mini. This week's wednesday mini is at Brentwood, and will be the 2nd singles round of the handicap process. Only one more after this and we'll be on to the handicapped rounds. As always teetime is 6pm, and we'll be playing 18 holes.

The other mini for the week is the EVERY sunday random doubles at the lake. 2pm teetime.

Just a heads up for the rest of the month. In an effort to speed up getting to the actual handicapped rounds we are changing the mini schedule for the month to all singles. Same place it would have been, but no doubles this month. This will have us using the handicaps to payout with the second singles minis of the month. So next week will be Singles at Picnic Bend, then Singles at Brentwood, then back to Picnic for another singles round.

The Abilene guys are having their second of six Cal Young Expansion series this Saturday. So if any of you are looking for a tourney in the area...here's your change. It's a one day tourney, signups are at 9am, with a teetime of 10am. Entry is $25 for pro, $20 for Am1, and $15 for Am2. This series is to help raise money for their Cal Young Expansion, which means they are rising money for second 18 on the other side of the creek. So if you can get up there and help support them.

For any of you interested. The club is having a board meeting tonight to discuss some of the ideas people have submitted as well as planning the Heardimore, and recapping the Crush. I will post all the important info on the meeting note thread on the CVDGA DISCussion board in the morning.
