Middle Concho

The Middle Concho course is on the North side of Lake Nasworthy, next to a popular camping area that is locally referred to as 'grassy meadows'. Each hole has baskets, with dirt tee boxes. All holes have 2 tees, for beginners and experts. The course is well maintained, and is laid out well, with easy to follow tee markers. The course is very flat, with many ground hog holes, so watch your step. Large, mature mesquite trees cover most of the course, making precise accurate throws a must. Rollers can be a distinct advantage for more experienced players. All roads are considered OB, and a basketball court (that plays on 2 holes), is also considered OB. Water is in play on 5 holes, with 17 and 18 having water gaps of over 150 feet. A strong West Texas wind blowing off the lake is always a factor, so bring your heavy discs. Overall, a very challenging course with good distance and many obstacles. The mesquites will eat up most of your softer plastic discs, and make sure and bring your floaters for the back 9. Chances are, you're gonna need them.
