Picnic Bend

Photos
Hole 1: Starting out you're throwing across the river to a basket sitting up on the rocks up from the river bank. OBs on this hole are the river banks(meaning the rock wall on the basket side of the river and the natural bank on the teebox side), and anything to the right of the street.

Hole 2: The next teebox is under a tree with low hanging limbs which were carved out to create a tunnel shot out of them. The pecan tree in front of the box is a mando to the left(meaning you must throw to the left of this tree). The basket is a hard left turn up the hill on the edge of a rock way. If you miss the mando, you must retee incurring a 1 stroke penalty for each throw it takes to get around it.

Hole 3: The teebox is up the rockwall on top of the hill, and the basket is under the large pecan tree near the swing set. The river, walk path, and if you throw that far the street are the OBs on this hole.

Hole 4: Walk up past the restrooms near teebox 1. OBs everywhere here. Including the center line of the wood post along the road, the parking area just past the basket, the concrete around the restrooms, and watch out for that big oak tree it likes to grab discs. And as always in San Angelo the 3 meter rule is in effect.

Hole 5: Down the walk path next to the telephone pole you'll find the next teebox. OBs are the wood post and walkpaths. The basket is set between the cluster of trees inbetween the walkpath and road.

Hole 6: Teebox is next to the pine tree at the river bend with the basket being along the river under some large pecan trees. The river ,walkpath, and street are OB.

Hole 7: Just up the river bank you'll find the teebox. This is the longest hole on the course, and probably has the most OBs of all. The walkpath which runs the length of the hole, woodpost, and the river all come into play.

Hole 8: This teebox is across the road past the group of trees, next to the fence bordering City Lumber. This adds a new type of OB. Over the fence, which it is important that we don't climb the fence to get any disc that might have been thrown over. Wait till they are open and ask to retrieve your disc. If the wrong people see you jumping that fence it could result in that hole being pulled, or worse a trip to jail for breaking and entering. That is private property. Other OB is the wood post center.

Hole 9: Walk along the road from 8's basket. You're shooting back towards the fence again. The basket, the most protected one on the course, is back past the huge pine tree under the low hanging limbs of another tree.
