Weekly update time of the week…This week we have a doubles tourney to the west, a full schedule of minis, including a special Wednesday mini this week. Player pack signups for the Crush will be coming to an end on Sunday…so if you want a Tourney Shirt get signed up ASAP. Otherwise regular registration will be open till next Thursday. Oh and btw- ONLINE IS THE ONLY WAY TO SIGN UP FOR THE CRUSH. Plus we have a little bit of a work day to get S.C. in shape for the crush.
MINIS
Wednesday is special in a couple of ways this week. First off it’s a 5th Wednesday..which can only mean one thing…IT”S GET RIPT WEEK!!! The second special thing is we are moving the RIPT round to North Concho this month. The third special thing….we’ll it’s someone’s B-day and they will be in attendance at the Wednesday GET RIPT mini…so I hope everyone there gives Jonathan Brannan a proper birthday celebration! …Hate that I am going to miss that! HAPPY B-DAY THOUGH! As always Teetime is 6pm.
Saturday’s S.C. mini is scheduled for random doubles this week with a teetime of 10am.
Sunday’s Lake mini will be handicapped singles this week. Had 6 out last week so hopefully this mini is starting to pick up now that football season is in the rearview! 2pm teetime.
March is the start of the Spring/Summer mini rotation. We would like to hear your input about how you would like to see North Concho included in the mini rotation. So if you have a thought....go to the CVDGA website, under the tourney section find the North Concho Thread and post what you’d like to see.
WORKDAY
Saturday is the final work day for the Crush. Start time is 9am, and we are meeting at South Concho. The main things to do are clean up the area around hole 14(the boat ramp) and around hole 4. Tools needed are weedeaters, and loppers. This shouldn’t take to long as long as a few people show up…so bring your discs for a round afterwards! Who knows, if enough help shows, maybe we get done in time for the mini????

ONLINE SIGNUPS ONLY -Online signups will be through http://www.discgolfunited.com/disc-golf-tournaments/tournament-dashboard.cfm/tourn_id/308 and are open NOW!
Player Pack signup deadline March 4th by 9pm...Anyone that signs up after this date will not get a T-shirt in their player pack.
Player limit 217
Trophy Divisions will be:
Pro $70
Pro Masters $65
Grand Masters $65
Advanced $60
Advanced Womens $60
Advanced Masters $60
Inter. $50
Inter. Women $50
Rec. $40
Juniors $20
(if there are 3 in any divisions not listed we will accommodate that, but there probably wont be a trophy)
Extras:
For the first time in Crush history, lunch will be provided at no cost to the players.
Friday Bring your own partner doubles will be played on the lake course and will be $10 per team
Long drive competition: $2 awards will be by divisions.
(this will take place between the 1st and 2nd rounds)
NightGlow: $5 This will go back to random doubles this year. And from what I hear the course will top last years!
There will also be some good raffle prizes.

Sign up starts at 8 am, $25 per team, $15 goes in the purse, $10 goes to help the Lions.
Start is at 9 am, $500 has been raised to add to the purse.
Sausage wraps, drinks including beer, and BBQ sandwiches will be available for donations, thank you.
Long drive and closest to the pin or ace prizes.
Drawings will be for many donated prizes. Worst score prize for the lame duck team.
A mini toss closest to the object will earn the entry fee being given back to you.
This is on March 3rd, 2012 2 rounds of doubles
